BREATH - ARTWORK
Wymering Manor House's inner rooms are filled with mystery and nostalgia. I walk through its hallways and rooms, each having a unique tale to tell, and it whispers the secrets of generations before. I can practically hear the echoes of individuals who formerly called this place home as I walk through it because the air is heavy with the weight of history. The furnishings and decor offer a physical link to the past, while the blend of architectural styles and materials produces a distinctive blending of the old and the present. I can sense time passing in this room; it's as though the walls themselves are breathing forth the memories of past generations.
Ever notice how your breath does a subtle dance?
The way it varies in distinct areas or throughout the day?
Despite the general belief that breathing is a routine process, I investigated the mesmerizing beauty of our breath rhythms, recording the complex patterns of breath and producing a visual composition that resembles a tapestry of life.

Thoughts on the Exercise
I was enjoying the meditation and felt very comfortable until I started painting. It was challenging for me to control my pen with my breath as opposed to having my cell limit it.
I did not especially enjoy switching from my dominant right hand to my non-dominant left.
Using Breath as a Concentration Tool
The results of the trial showed that recording breathing patterns increased concentration, which made it simpler to concentrate on hobbies and household tasks. Nevertheless, the trial also showed that it was difficult for the participant to appreciate the meditation because of difficulties controlling respiration with a pen and utilizing a non-dominant left hand rather than a dominant right.
My breathing exercises kept me calm and focused so that I could concentrate on my work, meditate, and unwind. I was able to adapt my improved focus to other areas of my life by paying attention to my breathing patterns, which demonstrated the profound effect that breathing awareness has on one's capacity for concentration and attentive engagement.
